“ I came across so many restaurants in Corpus with high ratings, but decided to test my luck and give Chops & Eggs a shot—and I’m so glad I did! The food was absolutely amazing—flavorful, fresh, and cooked just right. You can tell they put care into every dish. The atmosphere was upbeat and efficient, especially for a busy Sunday morning. Everything moved quickly without feeling rushed. Definitely a hidden gem and worth the stop! ”
“ Serving sizes are huge. Flavor is 10/10. Try their Dubai Chocolate pancakes. The pancakes also came with 3 cage free eggs, 3 meats of your choice, and potatoes. Only downside was the host could have been more friendly she wasn’t mean but her customer service was not up to par as the rest of the staff which everyone was so kind and welcoming. Bathrooms also need some serious deep cleaning. It is worth to invest in professional cleaning for a business so wonderful like this one. Overall super satisfied and we seriously wanted to come back again the next morning before our 6 hr trip back home. ”

“ This is my second time here, and I'm so satisfied. The first time, they tried their lamb chops, and it was so delicious and tender. Today, I got the chicken fried stake, and it was massive. They never disappoint and the staff is wonderful. Never have to wait. Everyone is played back and pleasant. Definitely a place you need to stop in and try. Don't forget dessert Dubai chocolate waffle. ”
“ Top choice for breakfast all day or fabulous lunch and dinner options. Laid back dining area with fast friendly service. Mike (manager) is always there making the rounds, checking on customers and food, but also bussing tables and keeping things moving along efficiently...really friendly with good recommendations based on your current cravings. Her hash was a healthy portion and cooked to order, with a big yummy biscuit. My sage fried chicken was hot, crispy and fork tender-really scrumptious! All frying done on beef tallow (Manteca) so crispy flavor is no surprise. Gravy was a little bland, but the garlic mashed taters didn’t need any! Too full for dessert, but they looked tempting. Great local option for really tasty food any time of the day! ”
“ 10 out of 10!!!! Loved everything. First we were told the wait was going to be 35 minutes, it was only 10. Our waiter Jeremy was prompt, very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. My family collectively had the seafood omelette, the lamb bacon, eggs, pancakes, waffles, the honey grits, and the Dubai chocolate pancakes. Everything was amazing! ”

Pictured are two of our dinner favorites: Tender lamb tips with mushrooms, rich brown gravy over creamy mashed potatoes and the 16oz prime New York strip, cooked to absolute perfection and served with mash and fresh asparagus. Both dishes are not only beautifully presented but bursting with flavor. As someone with a gluten allergy, I’m always impressed by how many safe and delicious options are available. The care they put into accommodating dietary needs is rare and so appreciated. Chef Jordan is truly exceptional his love and passion for food shines through in every bite. The prices are reasonable, the staff is always friendly, and the welcoming atmosphere makes us feel like family. We always leave full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend! ”
“ Five stars! Chops & Eggs absolutely blew me away. The food was incredible from start to finish. I had the best vegan burger I’ve had in a long time—flavorful, perfectly cooked, and topped with a homemade jalapeno aioli that was just the right balance of spicy and creamy. The Dubai chocolate pancakes were on a whole other level—rich, decadent, and unforgettable. On top of that, the 20 mimosa deal was beyond great and definitely added to the fun vibe. Our server Jeremy was super helpful and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. We will definitely be back! ”
